What is glamping? Glamping is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a combination of the words “glamour” and “camping” and an ideal way to enjoy being surrounded by the great outdoors without having to necessarily rough it as with traditional camping. This curated women's retreat is being hosted at one of the finest glamping ranches in all of Colorado. You can choose from a solo tent or a shared tent for up to 4-people. All glamping accommodations come with lake front views, a front porch, and firepit. The mountains are big, the water is blue, and the skies are stunning. You'll love it here!
Retreat Highlights
* Each day is filled with activities that connect us with mother nature, wildlife and the great outdoors. * In the morning, we'll greet the sun with pranayama, meditation and asana. * We'll energize for the day with fresh seasonal fruit, coffee and a delicious, fresh-made breakfast. * Paddle, swim, float, and splash in alpine waters. * Enjoy a picnic hike to a secluded lake in the mountains. * Feel your frequencies harmonize to the sound of singing birds. * Test your celestial knowledge during our enchanting dark sky nights. * Pursue as much adventure and relaxation your heart desires. * Take comfort and feel nutured in the company of sisterhood. * This retreat will replenish your soul, rejuvenate your body, and allow you to leave your cares far behind. Accommodations
A very special ranch was chosen for this retreat. It's located just 3 hours from Colorado Springs, in Grand County. The 100-acre ranch is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest, which is among the most stunning of lands in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area. Wilderness areas are highly protected public lands in America and offer the most truly wild spaces you can experience in the US. The ranch is 100% self-sustainable and operates off the grid. It generates it's own electricity through battery and solar. Fresh groundwater from an 80' well is their water supply. Propane gas is their heating source. Since the early 1900's, the ranch has been there to support the public's enjoyment of the great outdoors. It's a lovely, secluded, family-owned business, and will be our retreat haven for five wonderful days.
All glamping tents include:
* Deck porch for lounging to a cup of coffee as you watch the sun melt the morning dew off the grass.
* A fire pit for those cozy summer evenings outside.
* A camp kitchen (plates, silverware, a 10" pan, mugs, cooking utensils, gas grill). This is for your convenience. All meals will be lovingly prepared at the Lodge.
* Cooler for drinks or food.
* 5 Gallons of water in a dispenser jug.
* Space heater (not that you'll need it in August).
* Battery bank for charging your phone and small electronic devices.
* Queen bed includes bedding and pillows. Please feel free to bring any bedding items you prefer to help you be extra comfortable.
* Bunk cot includes a sleeping bag and pillows. Please feel free to bring any bedding items you prefer to help you be extra comfortable.
* Bath towels. It is recommended to bring extra towels since we are camping for 5 days.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
* Guests are kindly requested to join the ranch in respecting and preserving the campground and the surrounding National Forest, lakes, rivers and streams.
* Tents include parking for 1 vehicle only. Ride-sharing is therefore highly encouraged. Besides, it makes the journey more fun. Once you have booked your reservation, we will add you to our ride-sharing group. From there, you'll be able to connect with others also on this retreat.
